Acorn Duel

Two squirrels, two oaks and a breeze you can read in the leaves.

A turn-based duel at dusk. Hazel and Pip sit in facing oaks and take turns to fling acorns from little catapults. Set the angle and the power, read the wind in the leaves, and correct each throw from where the last one landed. A bonk on the ears takes 40 nerve, the body 25, the tail 15. Branches and trunks get in the way. Play a friend on one device, take on the computer at three levels, or practise on the cone range. Six woodland places.

Scoreboards

Best duel against the easy computer squirrel. Best scores of signed-in players. Scores come from players’ own devices, so this is a friendly competition, not a record.
